In certain weather conditions, you may need to open a window a crack for the open fire to light easily and prevent smoke from entering the cabin initially. Once the fire is going, and the chimney has warmed up, the open fireplace should work very well.

It’s best to have the extractor fan running during and after taking a shower. The extractor fan switch is next to the light switch.
